Gender equality and DEI (diversity, equity, inclusion) are issues of paramount concern in today's society. Throughout history, despite facing unequal circumstances, women have made profound contributions to social development. At this moment in 2024, the challenges of climate change and the future development of the world remain immense. The unique attributes of women position them as key players in advancing sustainable social initiatives, with female scientists being a crucial force in this endeavor. While various professional contexts still present many less-than-ideal conditions for women, consistently increasing the participation and rightful status of women scientists is a crucial starting point for overcoming these challenges. Upholding our kindred aspirations and steadfastly walking the path of truth, let us join hands in becoming a solid foundation and driving force for promoting sustainability and catalyzing diversity and inclusion.
